God needed another Marine, so he called Roger Edwards home on October 31, 2011. Roger passed surrounded by those he loved: His wife Jean, his children and their loved ones Ray (Dede), Bruce (Joyce), Bonnie (Mark), Barry and Brian (Leta). A native of St Paul, MN, Edwards, 87, was a World War II veteran, a financial advisor and real estate broker, a beloved husband, father and grandfather to his grandchildren Braxton, Brittney, Darren, Brandon, Laurie, Aleina, Olivia, Cole, Maddy and Taylor, and his great-grandchildren Carson and Carolyn. A mentor and friend to many, he helped all of us to find our way; he will be missed but never forgotten.
