Thelma Drake, 98, of Sacramento, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2011 at Casa Coloma Health Care Center. Born in Albertville, Alabama on March 27, 1913 to Clarence and Ida Floyd. Thelma moved to Sacramento in 1964, where she lived out the remaining years of her life. Thelma worked and retired from Mercy Hospital as a dietitian. She is survived by 2 sisters, Mildred Rhodes and Ivalee Simpson; 3 children, Kay Milender, Kenneth Drake, and Betty Drake; 8 Grandchildren, Jeffrey Cordova, Michele, Michael, Melissa, Dianna, Lisa, Kenny and Laurie; Great Grandchildren, Jennifer, Jacee, Justin, Jessica and many others; plus 2 Great Great Grandchildren. A visitation will be at 11:00am, with funeral services to follow at 1:30pm on Monday, May 9, 2011 at Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks.
