Ted, you were an amazing father, husband and family man altogether. Your generosity and humor will never be forgotten. I always appreciated your witty comments and sarcasm. You were just a great, great man and you will be very missed.

Many Blessings to the family! As you all prepare to live on without such a wonderful and big part of your lives, many of us cannot enen imagine! Mr. Reed was one of the best teachers I have ever met and I Prayed that when my daughter reached High School, she would be lucky enough to have him as one of her teachers, BUT he had already left!! I can say that Mr. Reed has touched many hearts in his years of being here and he definitely touched mine!! I was one of his eager students who felt he was way to lenient with us students, but he knew what he was doing!! =)I feel so Blessed to have known him and to have had him as a teacher!! He will be Greatly missed, just know, he is safe, at Peace in the bosom of the Lord!! My condolences and Prayers go out to the family!! May he forever Rest in Eternal Paradise!! We Love Mr. Reed!! I was fortunate enough to know him, for that I am ever so grateful... I wasn't a great student and I was always very honest regarding my opinion of our school system and its many deficiencies. He never once took it personally and he continued to put forth as much effort toward my success as he did with even the most determined students. He always had a way of making me feel like I was just as important as the valedictorian!  I cannot begin to explain the sense of loss I feel... I last saw him when I returned to Grant as an adult and he greeted me by name as though I had been there all along. There's a reason students return to their schools. Mr. Reed was a great teacher but more than that he was a dear friend to everyone he knew and his passing will leave a void in the hearts of many. My heart hurts for his wonderful family and I feel honored to have been invited to take part in his memorial service. Public speaking has never been easy for me but I feel like he and his family deserve every effort possible. I remember his wonderful spirit and I hope that sharing my perspective will help in some way.

Teddy Bear, the love you had for your family was inspiring. Thank you for making me feel welcome in your home and treating me like one of your own. I miss you terribly, but I know you are wowing the angels with your karate moves. ❤. Love you always.

I knew Ted from the online game, Travians. We played together with many people from all over the world. His game name was treedgrant. I called him treed. Treed was a great guy. Kind, sympathetic, competitive (in a nice way), and so very funny. I am honored to have known him, even if just in a game. He is missed. I pray that the Lord will sustain his family and loved ones in their time of grief.

The very first time I met Ted, Tash and her parents had come over for a pool party at Sue and Bart Rasmussen's house. Ted ended up talking with my boyfriend for a good portion of the party and by the middle of the party they had concocted a plan that involved me and being pushed into the pool. Ted called me over from across the yard and my boyfriend jumped out from behind a wall, picked me up and threw me in, it was one of the funniest and memorable moments from that party. Ted I will miss you. Always a laugh.

I met Ted when Tasha and I were about 3 years old and I remember, as a little girl, just thinking he was the best dad ever. I haven't seen him in a very long time, but looking at his photos over the past few years, he had the same warm smile and I could hear his great laugh. Tasha, I don't have to tell you this, but you have a great dad. He loved his family and everything I've seen through you, shows that he is a man that anyone would be honored to be around. I am deeply sorry you, your mom, your entire family are going through such heartache. You have an amazing angel soaring high above you.

Ted you were funny, caring, loved and supported your family and a very good man.  The light shined when you walked into a room.  I loved your jokes and the way you presented them, but most of all how you loved Patty.  Wayne and I will miss our time spent together.  We will look forward to the golf game in heaven. Waiting for your call to see where we are going to dinner (the big decision of the day).  We will miss this.  Some things I will remember him saying is I ask to many questions and old people suck.  He loved throwing the paper wrappers from the straws and got all of his friends joining in.  It is a wonder we never got asked to leave a restaurant.  My love to the family and may his memory live on.

Jerry and I will miss you so much.  You have left us too soon.  You have left a beautiful mark on the lives of the children you taught in school.  Everywhere you went they would come up and tell you what a great teacher you were for them.  What a blessing that they did this for you when alive.  Please look over and guide Patty and Nathasha.  Your work is not done Ted!
