Dear Bueghly family,

I cannot begin to express how saddened I am for your loss.  I have had the pleasure of working with Tracy for the last few years at HCD.  Jeff was often around for our evening phone conversations.  I truly can't imagine HCD without Tracy.  Her bubbly personality and ability to laugh through the hard times made her a joy to work with.  I considered her both a colleague and a friend.  She loved her family so fiercely.  She would always talk about her kids, the grand babies, the weddings and how Jeff was her rock.  We would share our beach vacation stories and how she loved her yearly trips with Jeff.  She was so excited to see her children become adults.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers.   I hope you find comfort in each other.  Tracy's shining spirit will certainly live on through her family.  She was truly a blessing to me.  God bless you all.

Words cannot explain how much Tracy meant to me. I loved her like a sister and she was my best friend. She had a heart of gold and would do anything she could to help anybody she could. I have way too many memories of her to share just one. 
Jeff you are her love and she loved you like no other. Nobody could have loved her better than you. 
Brianna, Tanner, and Cody you and the grandbabies were her world. She shared many stories with me. I'm very glad to know you through your mom.

Tanner, Cody, and Brianna, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother! It has been a long time since I’ve crossed paths with her but I remember what a strong, fun loving woman she was. After all these years I still remember the sound of her laughing. I wish you all the best and am sending prayers of comfort to you all.  May she rest in sweet peace. 🙏🏻

Tracy was an incredible person. I was in a ladies Bible study with her for many years. I always admired her deep love for her family and her ability to bring out the fun in everything they did. We laughed and cried together through so many different experiences. She always gave such thoughtful advice. Second to her family, she took great pride in her work and showed me it’s possible to be a mom and have a thriving career. Gone too soon, but I find comfort that she is basking in the Glory of the Lord.

Jeff , you lost your wife and best friend and no one who has not endured that pain  can ever understand your pain and loss. I know she was taken way too early and had a lot more living to do but  knowing that Tracy is a peace I hope will give you some comfort. 
Her children lost a great mother and caregiver.  I know for Tracy family was always first and she loved every minute she spent with them. She was the heart of the family and that will never change even in death. Her kindness and caring will be evident in everything you all do and the time you spend remembering her. 
 DJ and KC  and Tony will always remember her as the Big sister ( age had nothing to do with that role) as she was the caregiver and fixer just like her mother.  I know she loved all of you and always tried to be there in that role. 
Her grandchildren will never get to know her as the  loving , caring , engaging and fun grandmother she was. But with picture and talking about all the fond memories  you all have  they will know her through all of you and that will keep her memory and spirit alive. 
To all of us left behind - family , friends and coworkers we will remember her with great love in our hearts and a great sense of loss.  She will be missed.

Vince and I were deeply saddened to hear about the sudden loss of Tracy. We only met briefly over Skype and then later one time in person, when Tracy and Jeff came up to Canada from Niagara Falls to meet Hailey, Vince and I for dinner on a brief visit. We were so looking forward to establishing a lifetime relationship with our daughter’s new in-laws and to get together here in Canada to celebrate the wedding of our children, Cody and Hailey, in September. Life is short, make the time to tell people you love them. Cherish the moments together. Rest In Peace Tracy.  Kathy, Vince and the Somers family. 

I am so sorry for your and your family’s loss Brianna. Your mom was such a rock. I have so many memories of your mom. I remember being 20 and staying at your parents house before retreat- and your mom helping us plan and get supplies (your mom was the coupon/discount/supply queen!) as we panicked thinking we had to drive to SF in an hour. I remember her on your wedding day, and how happy she was at everything leading up to the event. The last time I saw her she was in her element, having fun with Noah and Jaylen at Noah’s birthday party. Your mom was always so welcoming, and I’m going to miss seeing her. She was a really great woman, and Brianna you follow in her footsteps in so many ways- I know she was so proud of you. She’ll be greatly missed by so many, myself included. 

The pictures posted here are an amazing tribute to Tracy... precious memories indeed... and just show how much family meant to her... it was everything. Gone much too soon. Rest In Peace, sweet Tracy and give your mom a big hug from me. My condolences to Jeff, Brianna, Cody, Tanner, Tony, DJ, KC, Dennis, Carol and all of your families. ❤️❤️❤️

Tracy and I worked together at HCD until 2017 and in that time I never didn't look forward to going to see her.  (A rarity for a manager of HR.)  We talked often and she always made me laugh and told colorful, heartwarming stories about her family, who she adored.  Tracy attracted a great team around her and she could get things done in HR that no one else could.    HCD is far better off because of her. You enriched our lives, Tracy, and you are deeply missed.  

Tracy and I worked together at Housing and Community Development.  Tracy was always someone I could count on and be assured that the information I received from her was correct and spot on.  As a friend Tracy was always there to listen, help and offer advice.  Tracy had a huge heart and the those that know her respected her intelligence, sense of fairness and  her willingness to always do the right thing.  Tracy was a dedicated worker who put in long hours and whatever needed to done.  The one characteristic she displayed that I admired most was her loyalty and love for her family!  Tracy you will be loved and missed and I will always be grateful that I had the opportunity to work with you and  be a colleague and trusted friend.  God Bless You and we will see each other again.

I am so saddened to hear the news of Tracy’s passing. I worked with Tracy at CalPERS’ Human Resources Office. I’ll always remember Tracy with her positive energy.  She will be in our hearts and memories. 

My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Eternal rest grant unto Tracy, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. Rest in Peace, Tracy. 

Tracy and I worked at CalPERS in HR for many years. I met most of her family and my heart goes out to you all for your loss. Nothing is more important to her than her family. I have so many fond memories of Tracy.  We worked together for a number of years in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s for the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment and then for the California Department of Toxic Substances Control.  Tracy was a hard worker with a “can-do” attitude.  We had some great times traveling together for work. Memories of after work adventures still make me smile; such as watching Lakers/Kings playoffs in LA surrounded by Lakers fans but cheering our team on anyway; and going to Disneyland and California Adventure with Tracy, where she insisted I ride the upside down Mickey rollercoaster.  Didn’t want to, but glad I did.  Thanks, Tracy.

Most important to Tracy was always her family, many of whom I got to meet through our monthly Bunco games.  Her family was a treasure to her, and the love and closeness was apparent. My deepest condolences to all of you.

I was fortunate enough to work with Tracy for the past year and a half at HCD. I am still shocked with the news and more than anything I pray for her family. Although I didn’t know them personally, I know how much they all meant to her. They were her entire world.  Rest Easy Tracy, HR won’t be the same without you.

Pelaez Family!

Tracy and I were childhood best friends- birthday parties, school mates and  play dates.   We lost track of each other just before Jr. High and then just discovered almost 2 years ago, we worked for the same Department.   Although she was in our HQ office working in HR and I am working in one of our District Office's, it was still nice to know we had somewhat re-connected.    She will be missed as a leader in our Department and as a great human being.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family, brother and loved ones. 

It is with deep sadness that I send my condolences to Tracy's family. Her family was always first and foremost to her.  I worked with Tracy at CalPERS for over six or more years.  I am praying for her family at this difficult time.  I feel she was a big part of our CalPERS family for years.  God Bless you all 

I am shocked and saddened to hear the news of Tracy's passing. She was my Branch Chief for the past 3 years and I respected her as a manager and as a person.  She was a force to be reckoned with and she made our branch a much better place because of her leadership and support. Even though I have never met her family, I know they were everything to her. My heart goes out to her family and friends during this difficult time. She will be greatly missed.

Tracy had an amazing spirit that was determined to make things better. I was lucky enough to work with Tracy over the last 2 years and made memories inside and outside of work. She loved her family so much and would have done anything for them. This lose will be felt for years to come. I pray for all of you to heal and hold onto all the memories you have made over the years. To her kids and grandkids, you were her world and the apple of her eye. She will be with you in spirit this year during weddings and births. To Jeff, I am so sorry for your loss. Tracy would talk about retiring with you to travel and was ready to enjoy the next chapter of your life.  My heart goes out to you and we want you to know that we are here for you. We love you Tracy!!!

I am so saddened by Tracy’s passing.  I worked for her for 11 years, and am grateful to have been a part of her team. Trace’s family was everything to her. We talked often about retirement and how she looked forward to having more time with them. My heart and thoughts go out to her family. 

Tracy was my Branch Chief the last three years. I was extremely blessed to be a part of her team. We had many conversations about work, family, and Disney. She lived for her family,  and was so proud of her kids and adored those grandbabies. I am heartbroken over her passing. God bless her family during this difficult time. She will be missed by many.  God speed.
