Agapito "Cuate" Molina, Jr., went in peace to serve our almighty Lord Jesus on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 when he passed away at a hospital in Corpus Christi at the age of 80. He was born on May 10, 1938 to Agapito Molina and Marta Garza Molina in Hebbronville, Texas.
Cuate was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, a devoted Catholic and was also the Jim Hogg County Judge before his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Agapito Arturo "AA" Molina; sister, Ada Ramos; brother, Ramiro (Anita) Molina; nephews, Ricardo Ramos, Roberto Benavides, Rolando Gonzalez, Jr. and Jose Alberto Lopez.
Cuate leaves many wonderful and precious memories to be cherished by his wife, Sylvia G. Molina of Hebbronville; daughters, Yvonne (Rogelio) Hinojosa of Hebbronville, Greta Molina and Lily (Robert) Barrera both of Corpus Christi, Texas; brothers, Heriberto (Alicia) Molina of Houston, Texas and Ruben (Dora) Molina of Hebbronville; sisters, Elvia (+Roberto) Benavides, Texas, Alma (Rolando) Gonzalez both of Hebbronville and Marta (Agustin) Lopez of Kingsville, Texas; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Gonzalez, Gino Flores, Roberto Gonzalez, Ramiro Javier Molina, Rene Molina and Frank Lopez. Honorary Pallbearer John Arturo David Vernon.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
