Alicia H. Pena

Alicia H. Pena was welcomed into the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family at the age of 68. She was born to Mortimer Herrera and Josefa Vela Herrera in Parás, Nuevo León, Mexico. She was a housewife. Alicia is preceded in death by her parents and brother Miguel Angel Herrera. She leaves behind to cherish her precious memories her husband, Hector Pena of Hebbronville, Texas; son, Leo (Melissa) Pena of Bruni, TX.; daughters, Beatriz Pena and Denise Pena both of Hebbronville, TX.; brothers, Leonel, Herrera of Mexico, Mortimer Herrera of Mexico, Jose Herrera of Rio Grande City, Texas and Bolivar Herrera of Mexico; sisters, Enedina Resendez, Olivia Rodriguez, Margarita Barrera, Beatriz Salinas all of Roma, Texas and Josefa Garcia of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Danny Saenz, Darien Taylor, Leo Pena, Jr. and Arieanna Hope Pena and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Adelfo Barrera, Jr., Lorenzo Benavides, Francisco Rodriguez, Ernesto Rodriguez, Leonel Pena, Jr., Danny Saenz, Darien Taylor and Ivan Herrera.

Holy rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville with visitation starting at 4:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
