Amy Lee Longoria entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 49. She was born on June 30, 1972 to Jose Longoria, Sr. and Mary Luisa Cavazos Longoria in Falfurrias, Texas. Amy was a 1990 Falfurrias High School graduate and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Texas A&M -Kingsville in 1997. Amy was currently working as an Immigration Case Worker for Hands of Hope.

Amy had a sweet and giving soul. She was so fun to be around because she loved to laugh and make people smile and feel special. She always had nicknames for family and friends, and to her everyone was a “prima” or “primo”. Her family meant the world to her and she was always willing to go above-and-beyond to make sure they had whatever they needed and didn’t have to go without. She was always willing to help people in need, no questions asked. She wouldn’t hesitate to give, even if it was all she had. Her son and grandson were her entire world and her biggest concern in life was to make sure they were always happy and taken care of. She loved shopping, having a few drinks, baking, family time and summer Frio River vacations.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arturo and Elvira Longoria; maternal grandparents, Luis and Lucia Cavazos; infant son, Eloy Munoz, Jr.; niece, Deandra Nicole Munoz; aunt, Debbie Cavazos and loving companion, Nestor Yruegas.
