Armando Aguilar Paiz

Armando A. Paiz, 80, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas. He was born on January 29, 1932 to Alfredo Paiz, Sr. and Aurora Aguilar Paiz in Benavides, Texas. Armando was an oilfield gauger for Tesoro Petroleum Corporation for many years until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alfredo Paiz, Sr. and sister, Maria Cardona. He is survived by his loving wife, Minerva Paiz of Hebbronville; sons, Amando Paiz of Bruni, Texas and Arnoldo Julian (Sofia) Paiz of Austin, Texas; daughters, Sylvia (Isabel, Jr.) Palacios of Bruni, Texas, Sandra (Leonel) Herrera of Hebbronville/Laredo, Texas and Janie (Baltazar) Saenz of Aguilares, Texas; brother, Julian Paiz and sister, Alicia Lopez both of Bruni, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Isabel Palacios, Jr., Armando Rene Palacios, Amando Paiz, Arnoldo Paiz, Leonel Herrera, Baltazar Saenz, Daniel Lopez and David Garza.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville.

Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
