Ascencion Rudy R. Perez

Ascencion Rodolfo “Rudy” Perez, 75, passed away Tuesday November 16, 2010 at a nursing in Falfurrias, Texas. He was born on August 15, 1935 to Ruperto Perez and Mauricia Rodriguez Perez in Encino, Texas. Rudy proudly served our country in the Army as a PFC for two years and was later employed by the Texas Highway Department where he retired after 30 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Maria S. Perez, Petra Perez and Guadalupe Pena, brothers Raul and Reynaldo Perez, brother-in-laws Emilio Pena, Johnny Reqenez, Matilde Perez and Alejo Perez, sister-in-laws Eusebia, Elida, Dometila and Elvira Perez. He is survived by his wife Juanita G. Perez, son Orlando (Marivel) Perez, daughter Velma Ann Perez (Oscar H. Garcia) all of Falfurrias, TX, brothers Rene Perez of Kingsville, TX, Rufino (Alma) Perez and Ramon Perez both of Falfurrias, TX, sisters Glafira Perez of Encino, TX and Antonia Reqenez of San Isidro, TX, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Thursday November 18, 2010 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday November 19, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.

Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
