Mr. Allen was born on July 14, 1933 to Ben Allen and Rosa Johnson Allen in Premont, Texas. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Allen owned and operated an oilfield service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife of 48 years Nancy Allen.
He is survived by his wife Janie Allen of Premont, TX, daughters Beth (Keith) Rulong of San Antonio, TX, and Debbie Allen of Port Lavaca, TX, step daughters Teresa (Jesus) Platas and Amanda (David) Saenz all of Premont, TX, stepson Chris Cantu of Premont, TX, and brother Robert Allen of Premont, TX, six grandchildren and two nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday July 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at The First Baptist Church in Premont, TX.
