Christopher Anthony Rivera Jr.

Christopher Anthony Rivera, Jr., infant child of God, gained his angel wings on October 26, 2018 at the age of 3 months. He was born on July 22, 2018 to Christopher Anthony Rivera and Priscilla Vela in Kingsville, Texas. As he was embraced by the Lord in Heaven, he met his maternal great-grandfather, Ernesto Vela; uncle, Noel Salas and paternal great-grandparents, Sabas and Ester Rivera.

Christopher’s surviving family include his parents, Christopher A. Rivera and Priscilla Vela both of Falfurrias, Texas; three sisters, Sophia Garcia, Aleeah Garcia and Makya Rivera all of Falfurrias; paternal grandparents, Roberto Narvaez of Kingsville and Diana Narvaez of Falfurrias; maternal grandparents, Joel and Elva Maldonado of Falfurrias; maternal great-grandmother, Estella Vela of Falfurrias; four uncles, Johnathan J. Ramos, Roel Salas, Jr., Lorenzo Vela, III and Jose Javier Maldonado all of Falfurrias; aunt, Ashley Narvaez of Falfurrias and many great-aunts, great uncles, cousins and extended family members.

Pallbearers will be Roel Salas, Jr., Lorenzo Vela, III, Jose Javier Maldonado and Joel Maldonado.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
