Ernestina “Tina” Muniz entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 10, 2025 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 87. She was born October 10, 1937 to Federico Morales and Eva Perez Morales in Falfurrias, Texas. Tina met the love of her life, Andres O. Muniz, and together they raised six children who they were very proud of. She cared for her family very much and had an undeniable love for them all. She will always be remembered for her comforting hugs and endearing words "Yo te quiero mucho mucho".
Preceding her in death are her parents, Federico and Eva; husband, Andres; sons, Andres “Andy” O. Muniz, Jr. and Adalberto “Beto” Muniz; sister, Bertha Morales and great-grandson, Ruben Garza.
She leaves behind to cherish the many memories her four daughters, Maricela (Jose) Garcia, Maria Graciela “Gracie” Muniz, Melba (Fortino) Saenz and Mary Ann (Tereso) Pulido all of Falfurrias, Texas; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Joel Sanchez, Marcus Muniz, Danny Myers, Noah Sanchez, Ricky Lopez and Teodoro Garza Jr.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
