Esteban Garcia Jr.

Esteban Garcia, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 5, 2015 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 72. He was born on September 25, 1943 to Esteban Garcia, Sr. and Elica Barrera Garcia in Falfurrias, Texas. Esteban proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He served as Justice of the Peace, Pct. 3, for Brooks County for over 26 years until his retirement. He was a very loving husband, father and uncle. He was a friendly man with a big heart and when he was able, Esteban loved to fish and hunt.

Esteban is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Humberto Garcia, Sr. and his nephew, Roel Garcia. He is survived by his loving his wife, Viola R. Garcia, three daughters, Ana Lisa Garcia, Ramona Garcia and Angela Maria Garcia all of Falfurrias, several nieces and nephews and his dog, Lady.

Pallbearers will be Luis Ramirez, Calixto Mora, Jr., Lucas Mora, Homero Garcia, Rolando Garcia, Chris Benavides, Ernesto Gutierrez, III and Humberto Garcia, Jr.

Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park with Military Honors.
