Federico Serna Jr.

Federico Serna Jr. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family at the age of 44. He was born on July 13, 1980 in Falfurrias, Texas to Federico Serna Sr. and Juanita De La Pena. He loved being around his family and friends and was the life of the party. His smile was contagious, and he had a warmth about him that showed he cared.

He leaves behind many fond memories that will forever be treasured by his wife, Anabel H. Serna of Hebbronville, Texas; father, Federico Serna Sr. of Hebbronville; mother, Juanita (Gerald) Murray of Orange Grove, Texas; children, Esteban (Briana Gonzalez) Serna of Laredo, Texas, Arianna Pena of Corpus Christi, Texas, Arelee M. Serna of Corpus Christi, Alejandra M. (Marcos Gutierrez) Serna of San Juan, Texas, and Federico Serna III of Hebbronville; siblings, Sanaida Serna of Falfurrias, Adelaida Serna of Laredo, Alexis (Kolton) Kubala of San Marcos, Texas, Jesaida Serna of Hebbronville, Patrick Murray of Orange Grove and Vicente (Mandy) Murray of Kingsville, Texas; grandson, Jayden Arredondo; his dog, Nacho; and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 26, 2025 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and services will conclude with Burial at the Greenhill Cemetery in Jim Hogg County.
