Guadalupe Q. Hinojosa

Guadalupe Q. Hinojosa, 81, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on March 26, 1930 to Antonio A. Quintanilla and Anita De Los Santos Quintanilla in Premont, Texas. Guadalupe was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Matilde Hernandez and sister-in-law Dora Quintanilla. She is survived by her husband Cleofas Hinojosa of Premont, Texas, three sons Cleofas Hinojosa Jr. of Kingsville, TX, Alvaro (Alicia) Hinojosa of San Antonio, TX and Leonel Hinojosa of Premont, TX, two daughters Maria Elena (Jimmy) Vera of Premont, TX and Magdalena (Russell) Hinojosa of McAllen, TX, two brothers Enrique and Antonio Quintanilla both of Premont, TX, three sisters Francisca (Leo) Herrera of Premont, TX, Lydia Neely of Orange Grove, TX and Anna Maria Mata of Premont, TX, 11 grandchildren Anna Lisa (Steve) LaFuente of Premont, TX, Marco Antonio (Shawn) DeLeon of Angleton, TX, Lisa Marie (Nick) Gonzalez of San Antonio, TX, Jennifer (Aaron) Olson of Dallas, TX, Felipe A. Hinojosa of California, Meagan Hinojosa of San Marcos, TX, Nicholas Hinojosa of San Antonio, TX, Chelsea Hinojosa of San Marcos, TX, Bradley Williams of McAllen, TX and James Vera of Premont, TX, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2011 at the Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church in Premont, Texas.

Interment will follow at the Premont Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Marco DeLeon, Felipe Hinojosa, Nicholas Hinojosa, Bradley Williams, Steve LaFuente and Nick Gonzalez.

Honorary Pallbearers are: Toby DeLeon, Dos LaFuente and Timothy Gonzalez.
