Guadalupe G. Saenz

Guadalupe G. Saenz entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 1, 2016 at a hospital in Houston, Texas at the age of 70. He was born on May 16, 1945 to Eliseo and Manuela Saenz in the community of La Gloria. Guadalupe was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for many years before his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Octavio Saenz, Noe Saenz, Raul Saenz and Eliseo Saenz, Jr. and sisters, Olga Cabrera and Albesa Saenz.

Guadalupe is survived by his wife, Felipa L. Saenz; son, Guadalupe (Gina) Saenz, Jr. of Falfurrias, Texas; three daughters, Belinda Salinas, Cynthia A. Saenz and Priscilla Saenz all of Falfurrias; three brothers, Ruben (San Juanita) Saenz and Enrique Saenz of Port Lavaca, Texas. and Ovidio Saenz of Falfurrias; sister, Nori (Fidencio) Rodriguez of Okeechobee, Florida; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Fidencio Garza, Ricardo Garza, Arturo Rene Longoria, Severiano Longoria, Jr., Jose Longoria, Jr., Mark Longoria, Humberto Guerra, Jr. and Fidencio Rodriguez. Honorary Pallbearer is Marty Cabrera.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Interment will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
