Hector Barrera 82 passed away Sunday July 26, 2015 at a Corpus Christi Hospital. Mr. Barrera was born March 9, 1933 to Toribio and Maria Gonzalez Barrera in Falfurrias, TX. He was a custodian at the Brooks County Courthouse. Mr. Barrera was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Virma Barrera. He is survived by his wife Dora F Barrera of Adrian, Michigan, four daughters Alda Barrera, Mari Barrera, Erica Barrera and Deidra (Alexy Arriola) Barrera all of Corpus Christi,TX., a sister Celia B (Reynaldo M.) Carbajal of Falfurrias, TX. and one grandchild Easton Arriola of Corpus Christi, TX. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday July 31, 2015 with visitation starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Saturday Aug. 1, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Garza Zamora Cemetery.
