Hector Guerra Jr.

Hector Guerra, Jr. 79 passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at his residence in Rockport, TX. Mr. He was born on May 2, 1933 to Hector Guerra, Sr. & Leocadia Reyna Guerra in Cuevitas, TX. Hector was employed by IMCO as a truck driver, for over twenty years until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Delfina G. Balboa, Alda G. Perez, and Isabel G. Zuniga; a brother, Efrain Guerra. He is survived by his wife, Refugia V. Guerra of Rockport, TX; a son Hector Guerra, III, of Arlington, TX; four daughters, Sylvia D. Benavidez of Austin, TX, Esmeralda G. (Pete) Zamora of Rockport, TX, Maria I. (Ronald E.) Sprabary of Aransas Pass, TX, and Yolanda G. (William) Weaver of San Antonio, TX; sister-in-law Lile V. (Guillermo) De La Cruz of Rio Grande City, TX; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville, TX, with visitation starting at 6:00 p.m.

Mass will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville, TX.

Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
