Isaac “Truman” T. Lopez entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 3, 2020 at his residence in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 75. He was born on February 4, 1945 to Ygnacio J. Lopez and Angelita Tijerina Lopez in Falfurrias, Texas. Truman graduated from Falfurrias High School and then entered into the United States Army and served for over two years during the Vietnam War. Truman worked for Brooks County ISD in the Maintenance Department and then on and off with the Brooks County Landfill. In his free time, Truman enjoyed watching sports, telenovelas and westerns.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Isidoro “Lefty” Lopez and sisters, Olga Lopez and Natalia Zamora.
He is survived by his wife, Maria E. Lopez of Falfurrias; brothers, Ignacio (Yvonne) Lopez of Corpus Christi, Texas and Jose Lopez of Falfurrias; sisters, Hermelinda (Marcial) Martinez of Corpus Christi and Blanca (Paul) Perez of Alice, Texas and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Rosary will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.
