Jose Leopoldo Garcia Jr.

Jose Leopoldo Garcia, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 16, 2021 at a nursing home in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age 70. He was born on July 28, 1951 to Jose Leopoldo Garcia, Sr. and Maria Elva Pena Garcia in Premont, Texas. Jose worked as a Rancher for Miller Ranch for over 30 years. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family barbequing.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Atanacio “Eddie”Garcia; sister; San Juanita Garcia Cantu; grandchildren, A.J. Garcia and Bertha Idalia Garcia and niece, Brenda Figueroa.

Jose is survived by his sons, Joe (Lorena) Garcia of Corpus Christi, Michael Garcia of Falfurias and Gerardo (Natalie) Garcia of Falfurrias; daughter, Irene Garcia of Edinburg; brothers, Isifredo (Gloria) Garcia, Ramon (Rosa) Garcia, Eliazar (Rosalinda) Garcia and Maximo (Debra) Garcia all of Falfurrias, Texas; sister, Angelita G. Longoria of Falfurrias; 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
