JunahV Cross, of Premont, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at a nursing home in Mathis, Texas at the age of 91. She was born on September 23, 1924 to Otis Vaughn and Zora Hodges in Oklahoma. JunahV was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Otis Vaughn and Zora H. Wolf; husband, C.L. Cross; daughters, Lavana Jean Myane and Patricia Welday and her great-grandchildren, Dylan A. Cross and Caleb J. Broussard.
She is survived by her son, Roy Dale (Ella Nora) Cross of Mathis; son-in-law, Michael Myane; brother, Wendel Vaughn; sister, Edna Mae Ammos; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Premont with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Premont Cemetery.
