Manuel Jasso

Manuel Jasso, 97, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at a nursing home in Edinburg, Texas. He was born on January 31, 1915 to Juan Jasso and Concepcion Salinas Flores in Encino, Texas. Manuel worked for many years as a custodian for the Brooks County ISD until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Teodora Ramos Jasso; daughter, Anita Isabel Rodriguez; three sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his son, Alonso (Maria) Jasso of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter, Alda (Quirino) Caro of McAllen, Texas; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias. Pallbearers will be: Antonio Jasso, Anthony Jasso, Alonso Jasso, Jr., Alfredo Jasso, Adan Jasso and David Garza.
