Maria Guadalupe Stroman

Maria “Lupita” Guadalupe Stroman entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 9, 2023 in Hebbronville, Texas at the age of 69. She was born on December 17,1953 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to Alejandro Rojas and Enedina Negrete. Maria is preceded in death by her parents and two siblings Juan Rojas and Leticia Romero. She is survived by her dear husband, Roy T. Stroman of Kingsville, Texas and three loving children, Roy T. (Pamela) Stroman of Weslaco, Texas, Cindy Marie (Michael) Davila of Kingsville, Texas, and Felix A. (Celeste) Stroman of Hebbronville, Texas; three brothers, Roberto Rojas of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, Alejandro Rojas Jr. of Round Rock, Texas and Angel Rojas of Laredo, Texas; eight grandchildren (Jada, Roy III, Isabella, Addyson, Jenna, Jaxon, Kade, and Jett) and many more family and friends. 

Serving as pallbearers are: Angel Rojas, Alejandro Rojas, Roy Stroman III, Ernesto Rojas, Alex Rojas, and Javier Romero.

Honorary pallbearers are: Jaxon Stroman, Kade Stroman, and Jett Davila.

The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville, Texas with visitation beginning at 5:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10 A.M. Burial will follow at the Greenhill Cemetery in (Hebbronville, Texas).  Then reception to follow, location to be determined. 

Lupita was the matriarch of her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.  Family and friends knew if they needed anything, Lupita would be there.  She never skipped a beat, she was at every awards assembly, game, tournament, birthday, wedding and if not there, you could find her at the maquinitas (LOL)!!  Lupita had a degree in accounting but she put that aside to raise her family in which she did exceptionally well. Lupita left a legacy of love and tradition within the family that will be carried on by her children and grandchildren. Her presence in our lives will be greatly missed, but her spirit and memory will live in our hearts forever.
