Mary H. Chapa gained her angel wings on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 in Corpus Christi at the age of 77. She was born on December 20, 1941 in Falfurrias, Texas to Margarito Hernandez Sr. and Rosa Almaraz.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Enrique E. Chapa Sr.; son Enrique E. Chapa Jr.; brother, Margarito Hernandez Jr.

She leaves behind many fond memories to be cherished by her daughter, Cindy (Ricky) Soliz of Corpus Christi, Texas; son, John H. Chapa of Falfurrias, Texas; brother, Arturo (Imelda) Hernandez of Falfurrias, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Oscar Soliz, Alex Soliz, Viktorya Chapa and McKenzie Chapa; numerous nieces and nephews

Holy rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic
