Osiel Amando Saenz passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 66. He was born on August 10, 1950 to Rafael Saenz and Maria Del Refugio Hinojosa Saenz in Hebbronville, Texas. Osiel worked as a rancher his entire life. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Faraon Saenz, Joel Sanez, Daniel Saenz and Marcelo Saenz. He is survived by his brother, Rafael (Eliza) Saenz of Hebbronville; three sisters, Nelda S. Gomez of San Antonio, Texas, Barbara (Gilbert) Guerra of Hebbronville, Texas and Herlinda (Robert) Lichtenberger of Corpus Christi, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Pallbearers will be Albert Gomez III, Roberto Lichtenberger, Joel Lichtenberger, Albert Gomez IV, Joseph Gomez and Christian Zent.
Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Burial will follow at the Amando Saenz Ranch in Jim Hogg County.
