Roberto Roy Roel Regalado

Roberto “Roy” Roel Regalado, 51, passed away Thursday May 27, 2010, at a hospital in Corpus Christi, TX. Roy was born on August 28, 1958 to Richard Regalado and Cristelia Garza Regalado in Falfurrias, TX. He was employed with SWZ Services for several years as a Backhoe Operator. Before working for SWZ Services Roy worked for the Falfurrias Utility Board for over 20 years. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend.

He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and brother Ricky Regalado.

Roy is survived by his loving wife Gracie I. Regalado, three sons Gabriel R. Regalado, Robert “Robby” R. Regalado and Ryan R. Regalado all of Falfurrias, TX, his mother Cristelia G. Regalado of Falfurrias, TX, a brother Rey Regalado of Falfurrias, TX, two sisters Rachel (David) Martinez of Falfurrias, TX and Rosemary (Adolfo) Ramos of Pleasanton, TX, two grandchildren on the way, 6 nieces and 3 nephews. Roy will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday June 1, 2010 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias.

Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday June 2, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.

Interment will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.

Pallbearers will be J.R. Castillo, Homer Garza, David Gonzalez, Joe Grimes Humberto Guerra, Salvador Mendez, Jr., Omar Moralez, and Freddy Trevino.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Cecilio Nino, Bernal Rios and Andy Mendietta.
