Teresa Merida Chapa, 67, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January14, 2014 at a nursing home in Cedar Park, Texas. She was born on March 3, 1946 in Alice, Texas. Teresa was a homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by her parents, Jesus Guerrero and Genoveva Garcia Guerrero and her husband, Osvaldo G. Chapa.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her three sons, Orlando Javier (Sandi Southerland) Chapa of Leander, Texas, Arnoldo Roel (Sarah) Chapa and Luis Rodrigo Chapa both of Austin, Texas; daughter, Venessa C. (Jason) Humfeld of Austin, Texas and two grandchildren, Osvaldo Southerland Chapa and Emilia Birdie Chapa.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the New Collins Cemetery in Alice, Texas.
Pallbearers will be her three sons, Orlando, Arnoldo and Luis Chapa; her son-in-law, Jason Humfeld, Romeo Garcia and Mando Hughes.
