Wallace G. Gordon, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at his residence in Hebbronville, Texas at the age of 88. He was born on June 1, 1932 to William Hubert Gordon and Anna Mae Hogan Gordon in Lynchburg, Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, William, Thelma, Leon, Ruth and Duayne.
Wallace was a 22-year veteran of the Air Force and served in the Korea and Vietnam wars, he also served as a Deputy Sheriff for Jim Hogg County for several years.
Wallace leaves behind many precious memories that will be treasured by his wife of 65 years, Rebecca R. Gordon of Hebbronville; children, Patsy (Paul) Brown of Yuma, Arizona, Greg (Kelly) Gordon of Missouri City, Texas, Carl (Ruel) Gordon of Houston, Texas and Steve (Denise) Gordon of Pearland, Texas; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
