Claire and I were good friends in college. Haven't heard from or of her until I read of her passing in the Dalhousie University alumni magazine today. I was totally shocked. She was truly a special person with the most beautiful smile. Please accept my deepest condolences on her passing. Francis Vosman

Such sorrow is embedded in our hearts at losing Claire.  She had such a thirst for knowledge and learning.  She was a tenacious fighter in all her days, even during her last days of life.  I regret that the distance in miles and life styles kept us from knowing one another well, but it is to my gain that Claire was my family for the past decade.  Our dinner together last December was such a wonderful time together, gaining insight into Claire's childhood as well as her day to day joys and struggles.  What a gift of grace!  Today my heart is reminded that "He will wipe every tear from their eyes.  There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain (for Claire), for the old order of things has passed away."

Looking back so many years ago, with such great memories.  One thing that I can never forget was Claire's smile and great attitude towards life.  She will be missed, but I'm sure she will light up heaven with her smile.  My prayers are with her and the loved ones she left behind - Kash

Claire's presence in my life was always one of kindness and loyal friendship, regardless of the years or distance. I will miss her deeply.

I remember Claire from the Rothesay Pony Club here in New Brunswick. She was always happy and a wonderful person. I cannot imagine the world without that amazing smile of hers. I was so shocked to hear the news. I send my condolences and prayers to her family.

Claire was my first childhood friend. I have known her since we were 4 years old in 1971 and she lived across from my Great-Grampy Healey on the Dutch Point Road in Hampton, New Brunswick. I remember looking for tadpoles, building forts, ukulele, drama/plays in Jr. High and at KVHS, listening to music, school dances and giggling about boys. Claire's nickname fir me was 'Shorty-Smiley', but her smile was the one that could light up a room. Good times, good memories and lots of laughter! May the laughter continue my friend! I'll see you again someday!

Claire was a great friend through High School and University. I have very fond memories of school dances and parties, long distance telephone calls that gave my parents fits, and talks that went on well into the early hours. She will be greatly missed.

Tim I knew your wife in high school. She always had a big smile on her face. She was like the Julia Roberts of the 80's. Claire will be sadly missed

Claire-Louise & I met last July at a training and we became fast friends. I am sure your hearts are heavy as is mine however I am consoled by the belief she has gone on to a much better existence, one full of peace, love and no pain. She will remain forever in my heart. Claire-Louise you are still my bff!
