Daniel S. Muth, U.S. Navy Veteran, age 76, of Stickney, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Beloved husband of Nancy, nee Zimmerman. Loving father of Christopher (Stacey) Muth. Proud grandfather of Leo and Jillian. Dear brother of Tony and Linda.
Daniel served as an Oak Park Police Officer for over 30 years accruing numerous awards and commendations. For a number of years he was a court security officer at the Dirksen Federal Courthouse.
A battle with leukemia forced his retirement. Dan was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed spending time with his friends who he dearly loved.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents Tony and Barbara and his brother Thomas.
Cremation rites will be accorded privately.
A memorial service for Daniel will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park.
