We love each other's dog but we could not get them to play together. 
We wanted so badly for them to be Playmates. We Girl Talk from time to time. 
She told me once that someone made her some collard greens and she wanted me to make my version.  Unfortunately I didn't get around to it. 
My heart is heavy because she was good people. At times I think too good. Not everyone cherish that part of you. 
She loved and gave hard. I worried that people  take advantage of that. But that's who she was.
I look at my life now and know I have to do better.  Thank you Doris for all you did for me and my dog Skillet.

Doris as I called her was a great friend to me for over 30 years. I met her at North Community Bank as co workers we quickly became great friends.  Doris would call me at any hour of the day and if I could talk, we would talk for hours on the phone remembering things in our past and she would always ask about my children,  she knew my older two very well and she considers her self to be their aunt and always told me to tell them “titi love you”. I can’t recall how many going way parties I went to for Doris but I always some how knew she would make her way back and she always did.  I encouraged Doris through prayer and faith to know that God loves her to forgive always no matter what just let it go and forgive.  I know how much she loved her children and was a very proud grandmother I wish she could have spent more time with them but this sickness took a lot from her, she fought a good fight with pain and all she did what ever she could to stay with us a little longer.  When Doris was at peace she told me that she’s ready to leave she can’t take the pain anymore and she’s ready.  I prayed with her many times over the phone and sent her lots of encouraging words, pictures and love we always ended our long talks with her telling me she loves me tell manny too!  I will miss you Doris you were a great friend see you on the other side in heaven.  Manny and Ana Fernandez 

Rest In Peace Momma D. This picture means so much to me and will be forever grateful for this visit. You thought I was coming to support you but in reality you helped me so much. My life was upside down but just the kindness, encouragement and forgiveness allowed me to continue on and know that if you can fight so can I. I love you Momma D and will never forget the first day I met you. I shouldn’t have taken my braids down before coming to your house lol

Doris was always so exited to be around loved ones and friends. Anytime I would go over or meet her somewhere with Ashley;  her smile was never ending. She always made sure to treat me like her own and that was probably the most heart warming thing I will treasure.  Such a beautiful soul, that will never be forgotten! May you Rest In Peace, we love you! 

My favorite memory of Dee was witnessing the unconditional love she had for her grand babies. They love their “Nona” so much. The purest love emanating from her and the kids. It use bring me to tears to see them be so loving and nurturing to their Nona. They prayed with her every time we were together. And let’s not forget how Dee would light up when she would see the kids just wanting to spoil them and give them so much love. She would whisper to me take care of my babies every time we saw her. I would tell Dee I got you but you ain’t going nowhere. I love you Dee rest easy.  I promise you Krystina and the kids are safe with me. Rest In Peace the kids will always remember their Nona to the moon and back 

My family and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to Dee’s children, the Badillo & Pérez family and her dearest friends. 

Dee was an amazing person, loved and lived life to the fullest. She was a true fighter, she suffered so much pain with her brain tumor, a battle that she fought hard and never gave up. I’m sadden that she’s no longer here with us physically, but I’m at peace knowing she’s no longer suffering in pain. 

Dee loved her children, grandchildren and her dogs dearly. They were what helped her fight this battle, until she couldn’t fight no more. 

Dee we love you and will always miss you, may you Rest In Peace with our Lord Jesus. 

You might be gone, but will never be forgotten.

I remember the first time me and Dee met at our old job for Atlantic Aviation, She was the first to talk to me and welcomed me at that job and even after we quit we remained friends for years, She was such a Joy and fun to be around and she always treated me like family, Dee I am going miss you so much and Im definitely going to miss our conversation of the Cubbies. I love you Dee and May you Rest In Paradise!

Dee was the epitome of living life to the fullest!  She lived, loved and laughed.  I will miss her for the rest of my days!

Doris was always bright, colorful, creative, vibrant and full of life. A fashionista because she was able to decorate more than just herself. You just got inspired when you’d see her new renovations or color scheme. And you knew, even without asking that everything she did reflected her own personal style.
she brought both sass and class in to the family. She was outspoken;Kind ,generous,
And a sure Firecracker..
Doris adored her kids so much ,she was so proud of her kids .her grandchildren were everything to her. Anytime she went out shopping always had them on her mind buying them gifts to send. Never did she forget her babies all five were her world !

I spent a lot of time in my late teens at Dee’s house in Berwyn, she always made me feel at home and always made sure I ate good with her kids. She gave me advice on girls and was such a joy to be around. I was just a friend passing through her daughters life for a moment of time , but in those moments She made sure I felt like family. She raised three incredible humans I have had the pleasure to know and pray for. 

Aunt Dee!!! Frankie can still hear you call him nephew! We loved being around you!! You showed us nothing but love! We will miss you always and forever! Go Cubbies!!! Xoxo Dominique and Frankie (nephew) 

Beautiful Angel. Although I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing you for as long as I wish I had, I’m grateful for the time we were able to spend together. Lord knows, Doris loved her some Krystal. In so little time you have grown on me and I will forever walk through life with you. I will always remember the sound of your laugh followed by that beautiful smile. The memories I have with you, the conversations, the laughs and the jokes we shared will forever be a part of me. See you in our next life beautiful. I love you, always.
