John Zambreno, age 69, lifelong resident of Oak Park, passed away August 23. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Elvira Zambreno; loving brother of Pasquale (the late Gale) and Mary Frances Zambreno; proud uncle of Sara, Kate (John Vincler) and Joseph (Mary); great-uncle of Joseph. John was a longtime attorney for Walgreens and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Visitation Friday, 2 to 8 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park. Chapel prayers Saturday 8:45 a.m. going to Ascension Catholic Church, Oak Park, for 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
