Robert L. Cerny, 77, of Oak Lawn, U.S. Navy Veteran, passed away June 17, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy. Devoted son of the late Jerry and Clara. Fond brother of the late Richard (Marilyn) Cerny. Beloved uncle of Richard Jr. (Mary) Cerny, Jeanne (Bob) Snyder, Melissa Hawks (Mike Santolin), Kim (Neil) Carson, and many other nieces and nephews. Loving friend of Catherine Bizek. Robert loved his dogs, his cars, gardening, flowers, and especially visiting Las Vegas. Visitation will be held Sunday June 26, 2016 from 3 to 8 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park. Funeral services will take place Monday June 27 at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
