Robert Dobbeck, age 88, lifelong resident of Forest Park, passed away April 15, 2012, beloved husband of Doris, nee Herzfeldt; loving father of William (Laurie) and Susan (Robert) Bulthuis; proud grandfather of Kate and Will Dobbeck and David and Erin Bulthuis; dear brother of the late Lucille (the late Walter) Schuetz; fond uncle of many. Veteran US Navy, having served on the USS Franks. Visitation Wednesday, 4 to 8 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park. Lying in state Thursday, 10:30 a.m. until beginning of 11 a.m. Funeral Service at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 305 Circle Ave., Forest Park. Graveside interment with military honors at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church are appreciated.
