Ronald C. "Ron" Sides Goldfarb, 77, a lifetime resident of Oak Park, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on May 26, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents Otto Goldfarb and Mae Sides, his maternal grandparents Charles and Mary Ulrich, and his paternal grandparents Jacob and Marie Goldfarb. He is survived by his sisters Patricia (Gene) Tomerlin and Carol (Sigmond) Carlisi. Nieces and Nephews Jeff Tomerlin, Steven (Michelle) Carlisi, Debra (Stephen) Meredith, and Julie (John) Olsen, and 6 Great Nieces and Nephews. Ron retired from Sears Roebuck and Co. after a long career, loved to travel around the world, and was involved in amateur theater for many years. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday June 17 at 1 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park. Burial will take place privately in Woodlawn Cemetery.
