

Adlee George Scheerer, born on December 18, 2007, was called back to his heavenly home on January 4, 2026. Leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and passion. A bright spirit, Adlee adored playing hockey, where he not only honed his skills but also treasured the camaraderie of his teammates. He had a special bond with his brother, Brodee, sharing countless adventures and cherished moments together.
Adlee was well-known for his compassionate heart; he always took the time to stop and help those in need. His willingness to lend a hand reflected his caring nature and commitment to his community. As a volunteer firefighter cadet, he exemplified bravery and service at a young age, showing maturity beyond his years.
He is survived by his loving mother, Tiffany (David) Stafford of Huntington; his proud father, Anthony Scheerer of Fort Wayne; and his beloved grandmother, Teressa Crago of Roanoke. Adlee was also fortunate to have the love of his grandparents, George and Marilyn Scheerer of Fort Wayne. He will be dearly missed by his siblings, Ethen, Brodee, Makaila, Katelynn, Devree, and Breezy.
Adlee’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his family, including his aunts, Tonya (Kevin) Roenker, Debbie (Stan) Oda, Cathleen (Eric) Butler. His uncles, Travis (Brennan) Crago,Trenton (Chelsea) Crago, Don ( Sandy) Scheerer, and Daniel Scheerer. Along with multiple cousins who cherished spending time with him. Adlee was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Crago.
Though his time with us was far too short, Adlee’s warmth, kindness, and passion for life touched everyone who knew him. He leaves behind a beautiful reminder to cherish every moment and to help others along the way. A life celebrated and a spirit that will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, dear Adlee. You are loved beyond measure.
A funeral service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Pathway Community Church, 1010 Carroll Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation two hours prior. Visitation will also be held from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Pathway Community Church. A private family burial will follow services at Star of Hope Cemetery, Huntington.
