CAROL ROSE GOODMAN, 76, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, March 7, 2011, at her residence. Born June 21, 1934, in Arcola, she was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church. She retired in 1997 from Lincoln Financial Group. Surviving are her daughters, Ginny (Pat) Eltzroth of Westerville, Ohio, Rhonda (Rick) Sleesman of Middletown, Ohio, Donna (Gary) Parish of Westfield, Carol Deanna (Jerry) Verhoff of Kalida, Ohio, and Elise Goodman of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Nick and Autumn Eltzroth, Justina and Elayna Sleesman, Emily and Mollie Parish, and Leia and Abraham Verhoff; sister, Gloria Van Holten of Columbia City; and sister-in-law, Geraldine Raupfer of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, in 1993; parents, Oliver and Mary Landstoffer; three sisters; and two brothers. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 7215 St. Joe Road, with calling one hour prior. Monsignor Bruce Piechocki officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2011, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with rosary service at 3:30 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Masses or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
