

CAROL ANN TOBIN, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at Saint Anne Home & Retirement Community. Born Aug. 21, 1940, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Velora (Repine) Boedeker. Carol graduated from Central Catholic High School class of 1958, and was a former member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. She was a waitress at Red Lobster for 28 years as well as the former JC Penney Restaurant for 10 years. "Carol loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family; she will be greatly missed." She is survived by her children, Kim (Kenny) Reeder, Penny (Chris) Kuruda, Roger (Debbie) Gaff, and Nicholas Boedeker, all of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, David (Judy) Boedeker of Vancouver, Wash. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Boedeker. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Father Joseph Gaughn officiating. Calling also from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at the funeral home. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
