Jennifer L. Putman, 56, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. She was born on December 23, 1969, in Fort Wayne. She was a 1988 graduate of Northrop High School, Fort Wayne. She later went on to earn her degree from the Parkview Nursing School. She worked as a pediatrics registered nurse for more than 33 years, all with in the Parkview Hospital network before retiring.
Jennifer will be remembered for her infectious laugh that seemed to brighten everyone's day. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and babysitting which she did after retiring. She also loved animals, especially her dogs.
Surviving family include her father, Larry (Patricia) Putman; siblings, Jill (Arnie) Myers, Sheri (Tony) Pisaturo, and Scott (Florida) Putman; four nieces and three nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. Jennifer was preceded in passing by her mother, Janean (Freed) Putman.
A memorial service in Jennifer's honor will be held at a later date. Please check back periodically for details.
