He was born on March 21, 1978, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and was the beloved son of the late Gilbert and Patricia Carlisle and also preceded death of his unborn child.
Kirk spent his life working with his hands and his heart, building a life of purpose and integrity. He worked as a welder, a trade he took great pride in, and was known for his strong work ethic.
He loved fast cars and motorcycles. He was a die hard American and had a love for guns and his flags! He was known by his sense of humor and he was always looking out for the underdogs.
Kirk is survived by his devoted wife, Michelle Carlisle; children, Brendon Hilkey and Jaxson Carlisle.
