Lucy Alma Miller

Lucy Alma Miller, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Golden Years Homestead. Born September 7, 1924, in London, KY., she was a daughter of the late L. Curtis and Blanche (Pope) Bales. A graduate of Warner College of Beauty Culture, Lucy was a beautician for over 15 years. She is survived by her sons, Randy (Tammy) Miller of Fort Wayne, Leamond (Joan) Miller of Fort Wayne, and Errick Miller of Camdenton, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois Asher and Doris Durben, both of Marion; daughter-in-law, Christie Reynolds-Miller of Columbia City; sister-in-law, Juanita Bales of Tallahassee, FL; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russel Miller; son, Russell Miller; siblings, Wilma LaHorner, Billie Cox, and Harold Bales; and two brothers-in-law, Inman Asher and John Durben. Funeral Service will be 4:00pm on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior.
