

Maranda Lynne (Lehman) Ripke, 39 of New Haven, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at her home with her family by her side. Born June 28, 1986 in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of Jerry & Anita (Swaidner) Lehman, who survive and reside in Fort Wayne. After graduating Woodlan Jr/Sr High School, class of 2004, she continued her education at IPFW earning an Indiana University Associate Degree in Business. Maranda had been employed at Kohl’s at Chapel Ridge from 2003-2020. From 2018-2023, she held an administrative assistant position at St. Peter’s Lutheran School where she had been a member of the church since 2011. Most recently, she held various roles in customer service with Excell Color Graphics.
A natural leader, Maranda was confident, courageous, strong-willed, tough, and selfless. Maranda was many things to many people, including a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, an aunt, and a friend. She had a talent for technical problem solving and organizational skills. Maranda loved spending time with her family at Madeira Beach, FL, Brown County, and weekends at Lake Gage. She enjoyed the little details in life, like her teal home décor and searching for a nice place to get a bite to eat. She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her family and friends.
She is also survived by her loving husband, Chad Ripke of New Haven; children, Carter Ripke, Riley Ripke, Adalynne Ripke, and Chandler Ripke, all of New Haven; siblings, Trenton (Brittany) Lehman of Fort Wayne, Autumn (Ryan) Bridge of Woodburn, Mitchell Lehman of Harlan, and Braden (Tori Miller) Lehman of Angola; paternal grandparents, Jack & Bonnie Flaugh of Kendallville; mother and father in-law, Bradley & Christine Ripke of Woodburn; and sister-in-law, Chelsea (Spencer) Scott of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, R. Lee & Arlene Swaidner; and cousin, Ryan Swaidner. Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd., with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 4-7pm on Monday, April 20, 2026 at the church. Burial at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
