Born in Fort Wayne on December 14, 1952 to the late Herman and Betty (King) Heuer. Mark graduated from North Side High School in 1971.
He attended Purdue University and was a journeyman electrician at General Motors. He retired in 2012 to become a full-time grandpa (papa).
Mark was an avid aviation and ham radio enthusiast. He enjoyed working on stained glass, putzing in the garage, and spending time with his family.
He was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Mark is survived by his wife, Barbara; two children, Renee (Aaron) Spencer, Cheri (Chad) Rhoades; 5 grandchildren, Heidi, Colin and Amelia Spencer, Everly Rhoades, and Baby Rhoades (expected July 2021)
Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, January 22nd at 5:30pm with visiting from 4:30-5:30. Service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church at 3425 Crescent Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805
