Obituary of Nancy June Kaiser
Nancy June Kaiser, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 her home surrounded by her loving family. Born March, 3, 1934 in Lykens, Penn., she was the only daughter of the late Charles Albert and Faye Helen (Houtz) Britton. A graduate of North Side High School, class of 1952, Nancy was a baker with Fort Wayne Community Schools, particularly Lakeside Middle School, for 16 years, from which she retired. She was a lifelong member of Calvary United Methodist Church and was active in the church's New Builders Group. She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, IU basketball, and Cubs baseball; however, her passion was baking and she was proud to make the best Christmas cookies around. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Harold R. Kaiser of Fort Wayne; children, Linda (Trudi) Kaiser of Sacramento, Calif., David (Dawn) Kaiser of Fort Wayne, and Kathryn "Kate" Kaiser of Fort Wayne; and seven grandchildren, Justin Kaiser of Fort Wayne, Ryan Kaiser of Carmel, Ind., Nathan Kaiser of Fort Wayne, Brittony (Spencer) Kelly of Muncie, Ind., Taylor Yankey of Fort Wayne, James Long of Sacramento, Calif., and Robert Kaiser-Breese of Sacramento, Calif. Funeral Service will be 11:00am on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be 2-4 & 6-8pm on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
