Patricia A. "Pat" Evans, 75, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025. Pat was born on January 6, 1950 in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School. She worked for many years as a hairstylist, serving in the Fort Wayne area. She was also proud of her 10 years as a Tin Caps ticket taker. Her family holds dear special memories of spending time with her at the lake, grateful she was able to retire there. She also had many interests and hobbies, including bowling, playing cards, working puzzles, antiquing, and golfing with her friends. Pat is survived by her daughter and best friend, Katie (Joseph Stoffel) Evans; her sons, Carl (Tiffany) Evans and John (Reiley) Evans; her grandchildren, Trista, Abigail, Mason, Peyton, Khloi, Kylie, Bentley, Kingston, Kenzie, Phoenix, Jase, Annabellea, Seren, and Ava; her sister, Debra (Adrien) Gugel; and her dearest friend, Lynn Blakeley. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Carl and Bernice. A funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, rural Churubusco, Indiana.
