Rita was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and was previously a member of American Legion Post 241 and American Vets Aux Post 33.
She is survived by children, Marcia Bielski, Timothy Chilson, Laura (Darryl) Dickes; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert, Marilyn, Kathy, Janet, and Annette, and nieces and nephews, and many others to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Geraldine Monnier; and siblings, Barbara, Donald.
A committal service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Catholic Cemetery, 3500 Lake Ave, Ft. Wayne, IN 46805.
