Robert K. Horwedel

Robert K. Horwedel, 95, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at Chandler Senior Place Living in Kendallville, IN. He was born April 25, 1925 in Vermont, IL, to the late Richard and Beulah Horwedel. Robert was a proudly served his country during WWII in the US Navy. He retired as a General Foreman at International Harvester. Robert is survived by his daughters Emily (Troy) Musselman of Kendallville, IN and Janet (John) Wagner of Huntington IN; sisters Lois Jean Wharton of McComb, IL; Betty Ford of Galesburg, IL; 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Marie Horwedel in 2001, and a brother George R. Horwedel. A graveside service will be held at 10 am Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Highland Park Cemetery (2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne).
