Ruth Diane Boylan

Ruth Diane Boylan, 79, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025. Ruth was born on March 23, 1945 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of the late Robert Dale and Flora Emma Louise (Bleeke) Sweeney. She was the valedictorian at Hicksville High School in Hicksville, Ohio. She attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina from 1963 to 1965, Detroit Bible College from 1965 to 1966, and Fort Wayne Bible College in 1966. She worked at Brotherhood Mutual, at General Electric, at Meijer in the floral department, and at home, raising and caring for her household. She was a member at Grabill Missionary Church for over 36 years. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, crafts, and especially working with flowers. Surviving family include her husband, David Boylan; son, Matthew Boylan; daughter, Rebecca (Jonathan) Langley; grandchildren, Madelynn and Logan Langley; and siblings, Tim Sweeney, Phyllis Hart, Jim Sweeney, Roberta Hart, Steve Sweeney, Mike Sweeney, Donna Trujillo, and Doug Sweeney. A funeral service for Ruth will be 3:00 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Grabill Missionary Church, 13637 State Street, Grabill, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm.
