Ruth H. Hall

Ruth H. Hall, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away on November 17, 2015. Born on September 12, 1928, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Hans and Gertrude Mueller. A member of Zion Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne; she retired in 1992 from the Southeast YMCA after 36 years of service. She was an IHSAA gymnastic judge and acted as a referee for the Indiana State Meet for several years as well as an office of the Southside Optimist Club.

She is survived by her sons, James M. (Nancy) Hall and William R. (Heidi) Hall III; siblings, Erwin C. Mueller, Melvyn C. Mueller and LaVerne L. Eickhoff; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband William R. Hall Jr.

Funeral service will be 11am Monday November 23, at Zion Lutheran Church, 2313 Hanna Street, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior, officiated by Rev. Douglas Punke. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, Sunday November 22, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Entombment will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Zion Lutheran Church or Worship for Shut-ins.
