STEVEN R. CAMPBELL, 49, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at his residence. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Richard G. Campbell of Fort Wayne and the late Marianne Campbell. He graduated in 1980 from Bishop Dwenger High School where he was an accomplished cross country runner. Also surviving are his sister, Claire A. Horn of Grosse Pointe, Mich.; brother, Daniel J. (Angela) Campbell of Columbia City; and nieces and nephews, Katie Horn, Dan Horn, Olivia Campbell, Logan Campbell, and Luke Campbell. Mass of Christian Burial is 10;30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with a vigil service at 4:30 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Masses or the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
